We'll be up bright and early tomorrow morning to see what this guy brought.
Okay, I'm not going to lie, that's not the REAL Easter bunny (this cute little guy and his friends live under our deck).
After checking out the loot, it's off to church for the early mass. After mass, we're hitting the road for Florida. Woo-hoo! Pray for a safe and sane trip.
Since we'll be gone on Easter, my parents came up today. My plan (you know I always have one) was to cookout, have an egg hunt and hang out in the sun on the deck. Well, it ended up being so windy that we had to cancel two of those three. Still got the egg hunt in, but I thought we'd all blow away! I ended up making burgers on the stovetop (yes, you read that right, me-burgers; made, did not eat), cheesy potatoes, salad and corn on the cob.
Those should be red shoes and she needs a little black dog in the basket.
He totally got the whole Easter egg thing this year.
We look so happy and serene, but we seriously were about to blow over.
Grandma, Worm, Pear and quarter of Champy.
Grandpa, the Pear and Champy. My dad might very well be Champ's second favorite person I'm numero uno. :)
How stinking cute are these buckets that my mom had made for the kids??
Taylor also had her class party this week and Mrs. Washburn kindly invited Michael to come and join in. Both kids had so much fun and Michael was such a good boy!
Taylor's class after the egg hunt. Hey, who's the kid in green in the front row?? Michael is as big as some of the kids in Taylor's class. He fits right in. :)
Reading time.
Hope you have a great Easter. There will be a little posting hiatus here on The Worm and the Pear, but I'll check back in when we get home from vacation.
Until next time,
Mommy Kel
