Rambling and Pictures

Howdy all! There's not a whole lot going on in our neck of the woods. Mike was out of town over the weekend, playing in the Lafayette Gus Macker, so it was just the kids and I. I tried my best to keep them entertained. We hit the high school football game Friday night and Oktoberfest and McDonald's playland on Saturday. Yes, I'm sure you're shocked that I don't have something compelling to report, haha.

Michael seems to be developing a real bond with Daddy. We both went into his room Tuesday morning and he definitely wanted Mike. Dear old Dad had to head to school, so he tried handing the Pear back to me. Usually he'd be all smiles, but he started to whine and dug his little fingers into Daddy's shoulder! Ordinarily, I'd be insanely jealous, but this kid is so attached to me that it's good to cut the cord a little. ;) Of course, I love the LOVE, but sometimes it's nice to go to the bathroom without hearing a fussy little stinker scuttling after me.

Taylor and I got some mums planted and our fall decorations out. Our house looks really cute, if you ignore the fact that we still have no siding on either side. Maybe next week?

I really am just rambling, so I'll shut my trap now and get to the good stuff.

This is one of my new favorite pictures of the kids. No, Taylor isn't pushing Michael over. Not here, anyway.

Michael, looking like he's about 2. Notice how his face is thinning out and getting more mature?

Just for fun, a picture of Taylor at about the same age.

Cutie Taylor now, modeling one of her 7,000 pink shirts.

Michael cruising with Baby Lanie Bear. Excuse the wet shirt. He hasn't quite mastered the sippy cup yet.

Per Lauri's request - another shot of my short 'do. It took me four minutes to dry and style my hair yesterday. Sweet.

Unit next time,

Mommy Kel
