Senior Night

If you follow my blog, you are probably familiar with our tradition of dressing the kids in homemade shirts for Senior Night. I started doing it back when Taylor was just seven months old and have continued every year since. (For past years' photos, click here.)

Mike has just one senior this year, a tough-nosed, hard-working kid named Brady. He'll be the first to take a charge and battles with the big boys underneath, even though he's undersized. My kids love him.

Four of my dear college friends came into town for the game. TA and Watson drove up from Cincy and Corey and Rob drove down from Columbus. We're right in the middle of the two cities, so it's a great meeting point. I was on a golf caddie scholarship in college, so most of my college friends are guys. They are like brothers to me and I cherish our friendships to this day!

Quarterly self portrait. :)

The weather has been nuts, but I'm not complaining because we've actually had a few warm days mixed in. One day we're outside in spring jackets and the next day it snows. It won't be long now, though.

Yay - warm weather!

Yay!

Yay! She actually likes playing football, too. :)

Yay!

Yay!

Boo. Literally the next day.

I've been freelance writing from home the last month or so and get to take Taylor to school every day. We've started a new tradition of getting donuts on Fridays before school. I'm a big anti-donut freak and refuse to buy them otherwise, so the kids eat it up.

Our favorite former neighbors were blessed with their second little one this month! Congrats to Jason, Michelle and big bro Ben!

Baby Reagan looks tiny on dad.

A couple more cute pictures of the Worm and the Pear:

Michael with some of his favorite friends. Notice the blue blanket. It rarely leaves his side.

6 going on 16.

Until next time,

Mommy Kel
