Now, I have the Worm pretty brainwashed. She loves the Buckeyes, knows the words to the fight song, Hang on Sloopy, etc. I promised to take her to the home opener today and she couldn't wait. We gave the boys kisses and headed to Columbus.

I forgot two things about THE Ohio State University. The campus is a) huge and b) insanely crowded during football games. Taylor was a trooper and probably walked three miles in all, weaving through massive crowds. I had her pose in front of some of my favorite places:

Where I spent most of my time during junior/senior years.
Ohio Stadium before we walked through the crowded tailgates.
This isn't the actual Evans Scholar house I lived in. They built a new house this past year and it is incredible. It makes the old house look like a slum! Of course, I loved the old house too, and appreciated having my school paid for (and my own bathroom).
Not a "favorite place" (I never even lived in the dorms), but how could I resist this?

Once we were settled inside and got some cold drinks and snacks, we were all good. Taylor loved the band (it was alumni band day, so there over 800 band members on the field!), Brutus and the stadium-wide cheers. The Buckeyes didn't play their best game, but a W is a W in my book. We had a blast!
Pre-game picture.

Taylor was exhausted on the way home, but I'm sure she'll be asking about the next game soon!

Until next time,
Mommy Kel
